Festa Italiana "Festa Italiana" in honor of “Our Lady of Mount Carmel”, the Virgin Mary, is a four-day traditional Italian festival that takes place every year in July, on or about July 16th, which is the Feast Day of “Our Lady of Mount Carmel.”“Festa Italiana” features a variety of entertainers performing Italian and American music and dance favorites. Dance the night away on a custom built outdoor dance floor. Plus, there is a special children’s entertainment program each night that features group games, magic, parachute games, music, group dancing, karaoke, and more fun entertainment for children. Other highlights include delicious home made Italian food and Italian specialties, games of skill and chance. Plus, the very popular “Bar D’Italia,” that boasts an espresso bar, imported cold Italian beverages, gelato, delicious Italian pastries, and much more. Buona Festa!
La Processione in Onore della Beata Vergine Maria del Monte Carmelo The“Procession of the Statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel”is a public procession of prayer to honor the Virgin Mary. In this traditional procession of the statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, worshipers carry the platform with the statue on their shoulders as they pray, sing and pay homage to “La Madonna,” the Virgin Mary. An Italian marching band leads worshipers through the streets of White Plains in traditional hymns of prayer in English and Italian. The Procession occurs on the fourth day of "Festa Italiana." Following the Procession, there will be a celebration of Solemn Mass. Evviva la Madonna!

With prayers and hymns in Italian and the distribution of Blessed Saint Joseph Bread. La Tavola di San Giuseppe The Saint Joseph Table is an age-old Italian tradition. The Blessing of the Saint Joseph Table occurs during the 9:00 am Family Mass on the Sunday of, or immediately before, March 19that OLMC. The students of Religious Education participate in a Procession during this Mass by donating food to be Blessed and then distributed to a community food pantry. Evviva San Giuseppe! Parish One World Festival Multi-lingual and multi-cultural outdoor Eucharistic Celebration to honor the "unity in diversity" of our parish. Featuring readings, prayers and hymns in Italian on the third Sunday of September. Immediately followed by a reception featuring Italian specialty food and other ethnic foods and entertainment.
