Tenebrae is a Latin word meaning shadows or darkness. It designates a special form of prayer which is prayed by the Church on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.
On Holy Saturday, a Tenebrae Service will be held at Saint John Evangelist Church at 9 am. Tenebrae is an ancient service of gradual darkness that symbolizes the darkness of Jesus’s death. Please join us for this beautiful prayer of solidarity.El Sábado Santo, se llevará a cabo un Servicio Tenebrae en la Iglesia de San Juan Evangelista a las 9 am.
