St. John the Evangelist - Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish
The One World Festival on Sunday, September 17, 2023 is an opportunity for us to celebrate not only the many cultures that make up our parish but more importantly our oneness and unity in diversity in the Lord.
The celebration begins with a Eucharistic Celebration that features prayers, readings and hymns in many languages as we worship God together followed with a sharing of a meal and entertainment.
The Parish One World Festival
Sunday, September 17th - 11:00 am at SJEThe Parish One World Festival will take place in the St. John the Evangelist Courtyard.
The festival will begin at 11:00am with a multi-lingual Mass.The regular Sunday 11:00 am and 12:30pm Masseswill be cancelled for that day.Please Note: Parking behind the school building on New Street is only allowed during Mass Times on the school side of the street. Any cars parked there must move their cars immediately following Mass to avoid getting a ticket. Street Metered Parking is free on Sundays. You may also park in the OLMC Church parking lot.
Sunday, September 17th is Catechetical Sunday
All children and Catechists will gather for the 11 am Mass of the Parish One World Festival. During the Mass, the Catechists will be Blessed and Commissioned in their Ministry for the new New Religious Year 2024-2024.
Attendance in the Parish One World World festival

Todos los niños y Catequistas se reunirán para la Misa de 11 am del Festival Parroquial Un Mundo. Durante la Misa, los Catequistas serán bendecidos en su ministerio para el nuevo Año de catequesis del 2023-2024.
La asistencia al Festival Parroquial Un Mundo
contará como asistencia a clase.
